# Getting help with the Knowledge Base assistant

The Knowledge Base assistant is an AI assistant in Scoot Home that answers questions about using Scoot. Ask it how to do something, and it replies in the chat.

## Open the Knowledge Base

1. Sign in to Scoot Home at [us.scoot.app](https://us.scoot.app).
2. In the header, click **Knowledge Base**. On a phone, open the menu and tap **Knowledge Base**.

You can also go straight to [us.scoot.app/knowledge-base](https://us.scoot.app/knowledge-base).

## Ask a question

1. Type your question in the **Ask anything about Scoot...** box.
2. Press Enter or click the send arrow.
3. Read the answer in the chat. You can keep asking follow-up questions.

To get started quickly, click one of the **Popular Scoot Topics**:

* **Navigation in Scoot**: how to move around and use features in a Scootaverse.
* **Hosting Your First Event**: how to host Scoot events.
* **Getting Started**: the basics of Scoot and tips for a great experience.

## Use audio mode

Click the audio mode button next to the message box to talk to the assistant instead of typing.

## Rate an answer

Under each answer, click the thumbs up (**Good response**) or thumbs down (**Bad response**) to tell us whether it helped.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The assistant's answers are generated by AI and may not always be right. If an answer doesn't match what you see in Scoot, check the related help article or contact support.
