# Live Advisor

> Get real-time coaching from an AI advisor while you run a sales meeting in Scoot.

Live Advisor is an AI sales coach that listens to your meeting and suggests what to say, ask, or bring up next. Only hosts see it. Other participants do not.

## Add a Live Advisor to a new room

1. In the top navigation, open **Scoot Engage** and select **Home**.
2. On the **Create a room** card, click **Create a room**.
3. Enter a **Room name**.
4. Under **Agent**, open **Add an agent** and choose an advisor from the **Live Advisors** list.
5. Click **Create room**.

If you leave **Agent** empty, the dialog shows "No agent will join this room."

## Start an instant meeting

An instant meeting is a new room that uses your default room settings and joins you right away.

1. On **Home**, find the **Start an instant meeting** card.
2. Click **Start & join**.
3. Optionally enter a name for the meeting, then click **Start & join**.

## Set your default room settings

Default room settings apply to every room you create from **Home**.

1. On **Home**, click **Default room settings**.
2. Turn on **Agent** and pick the advisor you want in every new room. If you turn it off, the dialog shows "No agent added by default."
3. Turn **Auto-record meetings** on to start recording automatically when a room opens.
4. If your account has it, turn on **Facial sentiment** (marked **Beta**). It shows when someone appears to smile on camera and lets your Live Advisor use that signal. Accuracy is limited, so treat it as a hint.
5. Click **Done**.

## Use Live Advisor in a meeting

1. Join your room as a host.
2. In the presentation toolbar, click the Live Advisor button (tooltip **Open Live Advisor**). A badge on the button shows how many new suggestions you have not read.
3. Read the advisor's suggestions in the panel. Click the button again (tooltip **Close Live Advisor**) to hide the panel.

To stop all agents in the room from listening or speaking, open the room menu and select **Mute Agents**. Select **Unmute Agents** to turn them back on.

## See how your team uses Live Advisor

Account admins can review Live Advisor activity.

1. In the top navigation, open **Admin** and select **Live Advisor Usage**.
2. Choose a time window: **7d**, **30d**, or **90d**.

The table shows, for each rep and week: **Sessions**, **Issue sessions**, **Quiet**, **Unclosed**, **Tips sent**, **Questions**, **Thumbs up rate**, and **Last active**.
