# Live In-Room Agent

> Add an AI agent that takes part in your Scoot meeting.

A Live In-Room Agent is an AI participant that joins your Scoot room. Unlike Live Advisor, which coaches only the host, an in-room agent is present in the meeting itself.

## Add an in-room agent to a room

1. In the top navigation, open **Scoot Engage** and select **Home**.
2. Click **Create a room**, or click **Default room settings** to add the agent to every new room.
3. Under **Agent**, open **Add an agent** and choose from the **In-Room Agents** list.
4. Click **Create room** (or **Done** in default room settings).

## Mute agents during a meeting

To stop all agents in the room, open the room menu and select **Mute Agents**. Select **Unmute Agents** to turn them back on.
