# Creating and managing Scootaverses

A Scootaverse is a set of connected rooms. Create Scootaverses and rooms on Scoot Home, and use the card menus to share, duplicate, rename, or delete them.

## Create a Scootaverse

1. On Scoot Home, click **Create Scootaverse**.
2. Create your first room (see below). The Scootaverse opens on its **Rooms** page.

> If your account uses the Scoot Engage home, **Create Scootaverse** may not appear on the Home page.

## Create a room

1. Open your Scootaverse and click **Create New Room**.

2. **Create a New Room**: enter a **Room Name** and click **Next**.

3. **Select Room Size**: pick a size and click **Next**. The size sets the room's capacity:

   | Room size | Participants |
   | - | - |
   | Mini | 10 |
   | Small | 25 |
   | Medium | 75 |
   | Large | 125 |
   | Extra large | 200 |
   | Jumbo | 300 |

4. **Select or Create Your Room Background**: pick a background from the **Background library** or make one in **Create a background**, then click **Next**. See [Backgrounds](https://docs.scoot.app/help-articles/scoot-home/backgrounds.md).

5. **Review and confirm**: check your choices and click **Create & Decorate**.

You can change the room name, size, background, and music later by editing the room. Music is set when you edit a room, under **Select Music**.

## Manage Scootaverses

Click the three-dot menu on a Scootaverse card:

* **Share Link**: copy a link or invitation. See [Inviting guests to your Scootaverse](https://docs.scoot.app/help-articles/scoot-home/inviting-guests-to-your-scootaverse.md).
* **Edit**: open the Scootaverse.
* **Duplicate**: make a copy. You can choose what to copy, such as **Settings** and **Rooms Items/Files**.
* **Delete**: delete the Scootaverse.

To rename a Scootaverse, double-click its name on the card.

## Manage rooms

On the Scootaverse's **Rooms** page, each room card shows its capacity and music. From a room card:

* **Enter**: go into the room.
* **Edit**: arrange the room's items in the **Room Editor**. Drag items, then click **Save Changes**.
* Three-dot menu: **Share Link**, **Duplicate**, or **Delete**.

## Scootaverse side menu

When a Scootaverse is open, the side menu has:

* **Rooms**: your rooms.
* **Smart Badging**: questions people answer when they join. See [Smart Badging](https://docs.scoot.app/help-articles/scoot-home/smart-badging.md).
* **Entry Flows**: where people appear when they enter (if available on your account). See [Room Entry Flows](https://docs.scoot.app/help-articles/scoot-home/room-entry-flows.md).
