Scoot offers several built-in tools to help you locate and interact with other attendees during a meeting. The main methods include the mini-map, the search bar, and Smart Badges.
Option 1: Use the Mini-Map
The mini-map is located in the bottom right corner of your screen and gives you a bird’s-eye view of the entire room. When you search for someone, their location is highlighted in green on the map, making them easy to spot. You can click on their bubble to move toward them directly.
Option 2: Use the Search Bar
You can search for attendees by name, company, title, or other profile details using the search bar at the bottom of the screen. Selecting a result opens that attendee’s Smart Badge in the center of your screen. From there, you can click “Teleport” to move near them instantly.
Option 3: Use Smart Badges
Smart Badges give you detailed attendee profiles and quick actions. You can open a badge by clicking the “i” icon next to someone’s name in the participant list. From the badge, you can view their shared information, favorite them, or teleport to their location. You can also follow up with them later using their badge.
